Terms of Service
Effective date: 26 August 2026 · Last updated: 26 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Latis Creative ("FrameUpload", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of FrameUpload — a service that lets a Frame.io workspace owner ("Account Holder") generate links so collaborators without a Frame.io seat ("Uploaders") can deliver files directly into a Frame.io folder.
By connecting a Frame.io account, generating an upload link, or using an upload link to submit files, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use FrameUpload.
1. The service
FrameUpload authenticates with a Frame.io/Adobe account via OAuth, creates time-limited upload links tied to a specific Frame.io folder, and — when files are submitted through that link — uploads them directly from the Uploader's browser to Frame.io's storage using presigned URLs. FrameUpload's servers never store the file bytes themselves.
FrameUpload is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adobe Inc. or Frame.io, and depends on the continued availability of the Frame.io API.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use FrameUpload.
- By connecting a Frame.io account, you represent that you have the authority to do so on behalf of that workspace.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your dashboard session and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Account Holders are responsible for the conduct of any Team Members and Uploaders who use links generated under their workspace.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FrameUpload to:
- Upload or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or that you do not have the right to share
- Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Attempt to bypass file-type, file-size, or expiry restrictions configured on an upload link
- Interfere with, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service
- Use the service to violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including Adobe's and Frame.io's own terms of service
We may suspend or revoke access, links, or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms.
4. Upload links
- Upload links are generated by an Account Holder or an authorized Team Member and may be configured with an expiry date, allowed file types, and a maximum file size.
- FrameUpload does not review, moderate, or screen file content submitted through an upload link before it is delivered to Frame.io. The Account Holder is solely responsible for the content their Uploaders send and for reviewing it once delivered.
- We may expire or disable a link at any time, including for suspected abuse or at the Account Holder's request.
5. Content ownership
You retain all ownership rights in the files you or your Uploaders submit through FrameUpload. We claim no ownership over uploaded content. Once delivered, uploaded files reside in the Account Holder's own Frame.io account and are subject to Frame.io's Terms of Service and the Account Holder's own storage practices.
You grant us only the limited right to process and transmit your content as necessary to operate the upload and notification features of the service.
6. Plans and fees
FrameUpload is currently free to use. Certain features (for example, allowing Team Members to generate their own upload links) may be limited to specific Frame.io workspace plans, which are billed by Adobe/Frame.io directly and not by us. If we introduce fees for FrameUpload itself in the future, we will provide notice before they take effect.
7. Third-party services
FrameUpload relies on third-party services — including Adobe/Frame.io for storage and asset creation, Resend for transactional email, and Railway for hosting. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or changes made by these third parties that affect FrameUpload's availability.
8. Disclaimers
FrameUpload is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrameUpload and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FrameUpload and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may disconnect your Frame.io account from FrameUpload at any time via the dashboard, which revokes active upload links. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of FrameUpload after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
